PRESIDENT
Patrick White
major: advertising & hispanic studies, senior
As President, I oversee all of the functioning facets of the organization including our seventy-five members, committee events, and six-person executive board, as well as act as the head student liaison for the college in Senate of College Councils. At the end of the day, my job is to connect and inspire the deans, professor and faculty, college services, and our university administration with you, the students!
VICE PRESIDENT
Bobby Hammelman
major: RTF & public relations, junior
As Vice President, I supervise the chairs of the eight committees and assist in implementing their events, which are fun and enjoyable while maintaining a clear objective to better our college. Our events involve communication students at “Morning Munchies,” faculty at “Donuts with the Deans,” and the UT community at large at Longhorn Halloween and Forty Acres Fest.
FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
Cody Permenter

As Financial Director, my duties include maintaining financial accounts, regulating expenditures, allocating funds to other student organizations and representing Communication Council at Senate general assembly meetings.
ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR
Paola Finol
major: advertising, third-year
As Administrative Director, I am responsible for the general order of our organization. At the beginning of every semester I introduce our constitution to the new commie class and throughout the year I keep track of all member points in order to maintain active participation. In addition to creating the weekly agenda and powerpoint, I ensure that our office is not only well-kept but also a place we can call our second home.
EXTERNAL DIRECTOR
Erin Gleim
major: communication studies, second-year
As External Director, it is my job to ensure Communication Council maintains a strong presence on campus and in the greater community. Along with planning our community service and campus outreach activities, I act as a liaison with the other communications organizations and college councils.
INTERNAL DIRECTOR
Grant Schaefer
major: advertising, second-year
As Internal Director, I make sure we maintain our family-like quality by planning events for council that create an open environment—ones where everyone can feel involved. These range from our after-meeting socials to our end-of-the-semester banquets. So basically, my job is to make you feel at home.
